WWE RAW Complete Results For 9/5/16

They show a video package from earlier today with WWE RAW commissioner Stephanie McMahon and GM Mick Foley. Mick wants an explanation for what happened last week. Stephanie says she has nothing to do with that and she doesn't know why her husband did that. Foley talks some more and then walks off.

Michael Cole welcomes us in Labor Day edition of WWE RAW he is accompanied by Byron Saxton and Corey Graves. Steph and Foley are in the ring. Stephanie welcomes Kevin Owens to the ring. Owens comes out to a pop.

Owens makes it to the ring as a YOU DESERVE IT chants breaks out. Owens let them chant for a while. Stephanie also agrees with the crowd. Owens speaks up and says you are 100% right I deserve it. Then he quickly turned on crowd and says what he doesn't deserve is a crowd full of idiots trying to hijack his moment. He says he don't need some one to tell him that he deserve it or not. He admits Triple H gave him a little nudge at the end when he already did 98% of the work. He says all Triple H did is just put things right and gave the side of a deserving man.

Music interrupts and out comes Seth Rollins to a nice reaction. Owens asks him why he's here. Rollins is not in a good mood at all and tells Owens to SHUT UP. He's so upset and asks Stephanie why he was screwed. Owens interrupts again with his mouth work but Rollins has nothing to do with Owens as he knows Owens is just a puppet. Foley gives side of Steph and Rollins asks to him if he's also in Stephanie's pocket. Foley says no he's not, but he has her back. Owens running his mouth again but this type Rollins has enough and he attacks Owens and sends him out of the ring. Stephanie yells at Rollins to stop it and listen. Owens makes it to the apron and this time Rollins nails him again. Stephanie announce that Rollins is suspended indefinitely. Owens laughs but Foley says no, Rollins isn't suspended. Fans cheers. Foley also announce that Kevin Owens will defend his title at Clash of The Champion against Seth Rollins. Foley and Owens argue as Rollins makes his exit. Stephanie and Foley have a hate talk backstage, Owens walks in and Foley books him a match against Sami Zayn, Foley also makes Chris Jericho vs Seth Rollins when Jericho walks in and tries to support Owens.

Bayley vs Charlotte
WWE Women's champion Charlotte comes out for a non title match with Dana Brooke. Dana has a clip board as Charlotte ordered her to take notes on how to win a match. Bayley comes out next to a big pop. They lock up to start the things. Charlotte with a quick pin attempt. They lock up again and Charlotte drops her. Bayley fights back but Charlotte drops her and works on her arm.Charlotte is on the attack. Back and forth. Charlotte grabs Bayley's head and slam it on the corner but Bayley warms up. Charotte do it again but it doesn't even hurt Bayley. Bayley grab the head of Charlotte and Slam on the corner several times as crowd cheers. Bayley botches a Drop kick and Charlotte is in control again.

Back from the break and Charlotte has Bayley in a head-scissors. She slams her head into the mat a few times. Bayley makes a comeback and nails a crossbody. Bayley goes on but Charlotte regains control after working on the bad leg. Charlotte stands tall and poses again. She goes on and applies a half-crab in the middle of the ring. Bayley turns it around and kicks Charlotte off. Charlotte drives the bad leg into the ring. Charlotte goes for a slam but Bayley tries to counter and her leg goes out. Charlotte goes back to work on the leg.

Bayley with a roll-up for 2. Charlotte with a big chop. More back and forth. Bayley with a springboard elbow out of the corner. Bayley unloads now. Dana pulls Charlotte out of the way as Dana charges in the corner. Bayley kicks her. Charlotte rolls Bayley up. Bayley kicks her into Dana. Charlotte's forearm sends Dana back. Bayley takes advantage and hits a Bayley-to-Belly for the non-title win.
Winner: Bayley
_Charlotte is so furious on Dana backstage and hits a nasty slap right on her face.

Bo Dallas vs Kyle Roberts
Bo Dallas comes out to the ring with a Believe in Bo sign. He squashed a local wrestler and raises his arms. It looks like Vince is gonna push him again.

Winner: Bo Dallas

_Owens and Jericho walking backstage. Jericho says he'll beat Rollins tonight because Owens is his best friend. They hug to end the segment.

Chris Jericho vs Seth Rollins

They didn�t mention this on commentary, but this appears to be just the second one-on-one match between this two (on TV), and first in over two years.
Jericho countered a flying knee into the Walls, but Rollins got to the rope. Rollins followed with an enziguri and low superkick for two. Rollins missed a Frog Splash and Jericho nailed a Lionsault for two. Jericho hit an enziguri, but Rollins came back with a Pedigree for the win. Good match that went about 14-15 minutes.

Winner: Seth Rollins

Best of 7 Series, Match #3: Sheamus vs Cesaro
Nothing much to describe, Cesaro keep selling back injury and work a good match but Same lame action as Sheamus wins with a Brogue kick.
Winner: Sheamus

The Shining Stars vs Enzo and Cass

Primo and Epico with same Puerto Rico promo. Enzo and Cass comes out to a pop from crowd.  Enzo and Cass get the control early on. Primo and Epico with some offence. Enzo and Cass takes the control back and go for a rocket launcher but. Stars avoid it and roll up Enzo for a win after Enzo and Cass got some confusion.

Winners: The Shining Stars
_The Shining Stars are celebrated after the match as Cass and Enzo are shocked.
- Back from a break and we get a backstage segment between Owens and Sami. Owens says the title proves he's better than Sami. Sami reminds us he pinned Owens at Battleground. Sami says their story will never be over and he will win the WWE Universal Title but when he does, he won't need Triple H to hand it to him on a silver platter.

Nia Jax vs. Ann Esposito
Easy money for Nia Jax. Ann hits some shots but then Nia Squash her and gets her pinned.
Winner: Nia Jax

_Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows come out to the ring. The show us the future of WWE Tag team champions as a slower version of New Day's theme hit and New Day comes out in a cane, walker and scooter. This leads to the real New Day comes out as Gallows and Karl Anderson retreat. They nail posers after giving them a chance to leave.

Darren Young vs Jinder Mahal.
Titus is on commentary. A simple wresting match as you can predict, Mahal gets some offence but then Young makes a come back and beat him. After The match an amazing brawl takes place.
Winner: Darren Young
Young attacks Titus and unloads on him. A ref makes Darren gets it back but he attacks again, a bunch of refs separate him from Titus but he attacks again and then comes to the ring to celebrate with Backlund.

_Alicia is backstage, leaving the trainers room to check her friend Ann. Nia meets her on the way. Both have words and Nia slams her on the table before leaving.

Braun Strowman vs. Sin Cara
Cara interviewed by Tom Phillips backstage and says he requested this match as Strowman ripped the mask of Americo and it is a disrespect of a luchador to take his mask off. Sin Cara comes out. (It is Sin Cara's birthday today). Cara attacks as soon as the bell rings. Braun keeps control and throws his here and there.Cara with some more kick and then a big kick to the head. Braun toses him out of the ring. Cara gets back into the ring but Strowman pulls him and nails him before getting back to the ring.Ref counts 10 and Cara lost with a count out. 
Winner by Count Out: Braun Strowman
_Strowman attacks Cara and hits him again before leaving.

Sasha Banks comes out to a big pop is street clothes. She share some of her emotional moments as announces that she has a bad news. She says Charlotte tried to break her back but she isn't here to make excuses. She says she lost straight up. She says she met with doctors early on and has an update on her condition. Music hits and Dana Brooke comes out and says she's gonna use her broken body to make Charlotte happy. She attacks on Sasha but Sasha nails her. Sasha then applies a Banks Statement and says she has a bad news for Charlotte that Boss is Back and will fight her for the title at Clash of The Champions..

Sami Zayn vs. Kevin OwensBack from the break and out comes Sami Zayn for tonight's main event. WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens is out next for this non-title match. The bell rings and they unload on each other in the middle of the ring. Owens goes to the floor for a breather but Sami follows. Owens counters and sends Sami into the barrier. Owens brings it back in the ring. More back and forth. Sami sends Owens to the floor. Owens pulls him out and sends him into the barrier again. Sami ends up hitting a moonsault from the top of the barrier. We go to commercial.

Back from the break and Owens is in control after nailing a superkick during the commercial. Owens drops Sami and hits the senton for a 2 count. Owens beats Sami around and yells at him. Sami fights back and sends Owens over the top rope. Sami runs the ropes and nails a big dive. Sami ends up hitting another dive on the other side of the ring. Sami brings it back in for a Blue Thunderbomb and a 2 count. Owens comes back with a clothesline but misses the corner cannonball. Sami with an exploder suplex. 

Owens dodges a Helluva Kick and rolls to the floor. They tangle on the apron for a minute. More back and forth. Sami avoids a pop-up powerbomb and drops Owens on his neck for a 2 count. Sami ends up going down on his bad ankle. He rolls to the floor for a breather as the referee checks on him. Sami tells the referee not to stop the match. Owens comes out but gets countered as Sami nails the half-nelson suplex on the floor. Sami brings it back in the ring but his ankle gives out when trying for a Helluva Kick. Owens superkicks him and nails the pop-up powerbomb for the win.
Winner: Kevin Owens
_Roman Reigns shows up after the match in mostly boos. He comes to the ring and gets it face to face of Owens. Jericho comes out next. Foley's music interrupts and he announce a match between Kevin Owens vs Roman Reigns for next week. If Roman wins that match he'll be added to Clash of The Champions main event and match will be made as a triple threat. Jericho tries to attack Roman but gets speared. Owens and Roman stare each other down as RAW goes off air.
