WWE Smackdown Live Compete Results For 8/30

WWE Smackldown opens up with a video of Talking Smack confrontation between Smackdown GM Daniel Bryan and IC Champ The Miz. GM Daniel Bryan and Commissioner Shane McMahon are backstage talking to each other. Shane tells Bryan to not get face to face with talent next time. Bryan says it is ironic to him as its coming from a guy who beef with Brock Lesnar. Segment ends.

The Miz comes out with his wife Maryse. He's furious and yells to cut the music. He brags about being a champ for 149 days.He says he did too many TV and movie appearances and also fight day by day but never being injured and he also calls the fans coward. Dolph Ziggler interrupts him.

Ziggler trash him back and wants a match with him right here, right now. Miz looks agreed but then leaves the ring. Ziggler takes the mic and says Bryan was right, Miz is coward. Miz gets more furious but Maryse calm the things and the leave the arena.

SmackDown Tag Team Title Tournament Match: The Hype Bros. vs. The Vaudevillains
Hype Bros come first to the ring and then Vaudevillains make their way to the ring.side. Zack Ryder and Aiden English start the things as Ryder gets the upperhand with a big dropkick. Ryder with some offence and takes English to the corner. Simon pulls English to safety. Ryder also pulled out to the floor bu the villains

Simon tags in and double teamed Ryder for a while. Simon nails a fireman's carry slam and tags in to English. He works on Ryder but Ryder some how reaches the corner to tag in Mojo Rawley. Mojo unloads on both villains. Mojo with a splash on English. Hype Ryder secure the win for Mojo Rawley.

Hype Bros Advances.

AJ Styles is coming to the ring, still wearing Cena's armband on his head. He walks up to Crews and tells him he's the face that runs the place and also tells him to not forget it before walking off.

Styles comes out and tells us how he beat John Cena at SummerSlam and now he's gonna beat Dean Ambrose at Backlash 2016. Music interrupts and out comes Apollo Crews to a good reaction. He says he went to Bryan and got permission to fight AJ Styles.

AJ Styles vs. Apollo Crews
Styles attacks Crews as soon as the bell rings. AJ takes him to the corner and hits him with some strikes. Crews turns the things and dropkick AJ Styles. Crews with a slam and then drops him to the floor. Crews is in control now. Crews with a moonsault from the apron and brings in back to the ring to work on Styles. Crews takes AJ to the top rope but gets slammed. AJ strikes this time with a clothesline and then hits a crossbody but crews catches him on the way and nails him for a nearfall. Back and forth and AJ snaps crews neck over the top rope and then hits a Phenomenal Forearm for the win.

Winner: AJ Styles

_We see a segment with Renee Young visiting Heath Slater's home in West Virginia. Nice segment.

Bray Wyatt comes out for a promo on Randy Orton. He says Orton is damaged from the Brock Lesnar fight and voices in his head are telling him to run. Voices hits and out comes Randy Orton to a pop. Randy takes a shot at Wyatt and says that voices in his head is asking who the hell this guy think he is. They have more words and Orton announces that he isn't afraid of Bray Wyatt. Wyatt challenge him for the match at Backlash, Orton accepts.

Becky Lynch and Naomi vs Natalya and Alexa Bliss

Nikki Bella is on commentary, we see a recap of Carmella attacking her in the ring last week. Heel team comes first then Naomi and Becky Lynch respectively. Both teams go at it as the bell rings. Becky and Naomi sends heels to the floor. They get the things back into the ring and Natalya is in control of Naomi now. Becky tries to rescue her partner but ref force her to stay away. Bliss tags in and works on Naomi. Naomi fight back and nails both opponents but Bliss nails her too to stop a tah.

Becky finally gets the hot tag and unloads on Bliss. Becky with the flying firearm in the corner. They trade shots and counters. Becky goes to the top for a missile dropkick but Bliss kicks out at 2 as Natalya breaks it. Naomi takes Natalya to the floor. Carmella attacks Nikki on commentary. Nikki rams her into the apron but Carmella kicks her and sends her into the barrier. Bliss takes advantage of a distracted Becky and rolls her up for the win.

SmackDown Tag Team Title Tournament Match: The Headbangers vs. Rhyno and Heath Slater
The Headbangers Mosh and Thrasher make their return to WWE to a nice pop. Slater also gets a good reaction from crowd as he comes out with Rhyno. Not a very long match. Headbangers control the earlier part of the match and works on Slater until Rhyno gets a hot tag and unloads on both legends. He nails a Gore to win for his team.

_Gary Miman is in the ring with mic, he's been granted a licence to fight tonight. I don't even know who he is.He's ready to fight as he takes off his shirt and tie and much more. No one comes from the backstage but he's still waiting. Music hits Kane Comes, chockslams him, Leaves. That's all what just happened.

WWE World Champion Dean Ambrose vs Baron Corbin

Kane and Baron Corbin cross paths and eyes during Corbin's  entrance. May be an indication for a future feud. Well if it happens it will be great. Dean Ambrose comes out next to a big ovation from crowd. Bell rings after a forma introduction. AJ Styles is on commentary. They lock up to start the things off as back and forth start. Ambrose sends Corbin to the floor and slams him into announce table in front of AJ Styles. Ambrose brings it back to the ring but have some words with Styles. 

Corbin takes advantage and nails him from behind.Corbin Blocks a running bulldog and nails a lariat from behind. Corbin working on Ambrose now and sends him to the floor. Corbin sends Ambrose into steel steps during the break. Corbin with more offense as the ref has to warn him about DQ. Ambrose with a fight back attempt and nails Corbin with a Neckbreaker and goes for a Dirty Deeds but it is blocked by Corbin.for a 2 count. Corbin is in control again as the trade shots in middle of the ring. Ambrose with a bounce back clothes line from the second rope for a nearfall. More back and forth. Corbin and AJ end up having words at ringside. They come face to face. Ambrose nails Corbin from behind and brings it back in the ring. Ambrose with the big elbow drop for a 2 count. Styles gets on the apron and dodges a shot from Ambrose. Corbin rolls Ambrose up for 2. Corbin blocks Dirty Deeds and runs Ambrose into AJ on the apron. The referee calls for the bell.

After the bell, Ambrose leaps off the apron and nails Styles. Styles launches him over the announce table. Ambrose comes right back but Corbin hits him from behind. Corbin brings Ambrose in the ring but eats a Dirty Deeds. AJ goes to springboard in but Ambrose crotches him and leaves him there perched on the top rope. Ambrose shakes the top rope, then shakes AJ's hand. He is handed the WWE Title as fans cheer and AJ is still left sitting on the top rope crotched. Ambrose leaves with the title as his music hits. SmackDown goes off the air with AJ stuck on the top rope.
