Del Rio Officially Asks WWE For his Release

As we reported before that Del Rio is leaving WWE according to sources. Breaking News is that Alberto Del Rio is finished with WWE and also informed WWE through his Lawyer that he is going to leave the company in September. As per reports ADR is furious on broken promises from WWE.

As per him, WWE vowed him to give him a main event spot and a world title run but he was putted into a Mex-America storyline and then a midcard heel team League of Nation's member.

 WWE announced on August 17th that Del Rio and his real-life girlfriend, Saraya-Jade Bevis, a.k.a. Paige, were both suspended for 30 days for their first violations of the company's Wellness Policy. The timing is interesting given that Del Rio had given his notice several weeks earlier, in late June. Now Del Rio is clearly not gonna return and will be able to compete as free agent after September 2016.
